The system is essentially as simple as plug and play. We recommend you buy extension cables with the bundle so you can run and hide the cables as the standard cables are limited in length. Once everything is hooked up and set the video format accordingly to your territory (PAL or NTSC) you are good to go. The app is basic but does the job really well. Essentially you can view the footage on your mobile, for peace of mind. In this price range, this is a great system and will give you peace of mind. It doesn’t have the fancy features the more expensive systems have, but unless you are willing to spend the money or need those extra feature, this will do just fine!

Motion detection function enables your camera system to start recording when movement is detected. You can also customise motion detection, i.e. set a perimeter zone, specify which areas of the camera’s motion grid are active and even set a 24×7 schedule for it. The sensitivity of the motion sensor is also adjustable to decrease false alarms such as plants moving in a breeze.
A 1TB hard drive comes included with this SANSCO DVR. If that’s not enough to serve, you have the ability to replace the internal hard drive with a bigger one (up to 6TB). If you plug in a USB memory stick or an external hard drive with a USB connection, you can organize and sort your snapshots and recordings however you like.
The DVR included in your system is an absolute powerhouse. It can record on all channels, view live video, playback recorded events, back up recorded footage, and remotely access your system from your smartphone or tablet – all at the same time.
