Charges your laptop and provides power to connected devices. The Hub can be used without the USB C Power Delivery port connected.
As a guideline, the USB C power cable must be plugged into the hub if more than one high-powered device is connected such as an external hard drives, phones, tablets, and battery packs.
Please note: USB C port does not support data transfer, only delivers power. Apple Superdrive is not compatible. All other DVD drives are compatible. Older wireless mouse may not work.
