In its price range, this is one of the lowest systems that we have tested. We were pleasantly surprised at the image quality. Naturally, the quality is not the same under low/no light conditions but even then it is still good. The ideal scenario would be a residential setup with some light either outside of the property or residual from properties/ buildings/ lamps around. The NVR unit is very light and compact and the interface is good and straightforward. We used the POE (Power over Ethernet) connection for each camera to avoid using wires, although that is an option. We really liked the dome cameras and would recommend that you install a micro SD card in each camera for added security. Overall, a nice system for a home environment and with 8 cameras, you get plenty of coverage.
