New Video Show Apple 11 Design
Apple is expected to launch a new range of flagship iPhones in September. There have been many rumours and mock-up designs but things have got a little bit more real thanks to a video that appears to show the rumored iPhone 11 design along with the iPhone 11 Max and iPhone 11 R range.
In this video from Mobile Fun, you can see what appear to be real-life dummy units of the three phones which have been acquired from a Chinese source testing cases for the upcoming range of Olixar iPhone 11 cases. This source claims the iPhone 11 design mockups are correct in terms of physical size, port orientation and screen size.
Apple is likely to do final refinements and you can bet that they have kept the final small details secret and away from view so things are likely to change slightly. However, the overall iPhone 11 design is unlikely to change dramatically so close to release date. These leaked designs fall in line with a number of previous rumours which point to a largely similar design with the only major change being a bigger camera block on the rear of the new iPhones.
The iPhone 11 will almost certainly pack an A13 CPU but exactly how capable or fast that processor will be, no one quite knows. You can (should) expect a healthy boost over the A12 of the iPhone XS. Given that the A12 remains one of the most capable mobile chips on the market, we’re expecting the iPhone 11 to absolutely fly. Rumours have it that the iPhone will pack 4GB of RAM, just like the iPhone XS. We just hope the can up that to 8GB RAM and help justify the likely extortionate price they will be asking for any of these headsets.
Size
According to Mobile Fun, the screen sizes and dimensions of the new iPhones are exactly the same as the current iPhone X, XS and XR series of handsets.
– The iPhone 11 will have a 5.8-inch display and measure 143.6 x 70.9 x 7.7mm, with the addition of an additional rear camera, making a total of three cameras.
– The iPhone 11 Max is set to be the largest of the three, with a 6.5-inch screen and 157.5 x 77.4 x 7.7mm size and it is also expected to get a third rear camera
– The iPhone 11R would sit in between its siblings in terms of size, with a 6.1-inch display and dimensions of 150.9 x 75.7 x 8.3mm. It is also expected to get an additional rear camera, going from the single rear camera on the iPhone XR to a dual-camera setup on the new iPhone.
But treat this with a pinch of salt as these are still rumours and things could well turn out to be different as Apple is yet to reveal any details on new devices, and we’re still over two months away from any potential launch. Plenty of time for surprises, new designs and new leaks.
We can’t wait to see how to fairs against the recently released Samsung Galaxy S10+ and Hauwei P30 Pro, both being quite impressive headsets with a huge range of features that will make it hard for Apple to compete against.
